Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: August 29, 2026
These instructions explain how to disconnect a social platform such as Meta (Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts) from VivAddie, and how to request deletion of the data associated with that connection or with your VivAddie account.
1. Data associated with a Meta connection
When you connect a Facebook Page or an eligible Instagram professional account to VivAddie, the following categories of data may be associated with that connection:
- Connection metadata — the Facebook Page ID and name, and for Instagram, the linked professional account ID and username, so we can show you which destinations are connected.
- Authorization tokens — the access tokens Meta issues that allow VivAddie to schedule and publish to the accounts you connected. These are stored server-side and are never displayed in your browser.
- Scheduling and publishing records — records of posts you scheduled or published through VivAddie to the connected destinations, where applicable.
We do not use Meta connection data for advertising or share it with unrelated third parties. Content already published to a platform is stored by that platform and is governed by its own policies and deletion tools — deleting it from VivAddie's records does not remove it from Facebook or Instagram.
2. How to disconnect Meta from within VivAddie
If you still have access to your VivAddie account, this is the quickest way to stop VivAddie from acting on your connected accounts:
- Sign in to VivAddie and open your account settings.
- Find the connected social account under connected destinations and choose disconnect/remove.
- Disconnecting removes the stored authorization for that account and stops all publishing to it. Any scheduled posts for that destination that have not yet been published will no longer be sent.
Disconnecting in the product removes the connection and its stored authorization. If you also want the remaining connection records deleted, see the next section.
3. Requesting deletion if you can no longer access the app
If you can no longer sign in to VivAddie — for example because you lost access to your account — you can still request deletion of the data associated with a Meta connection or of your VivAddie account data. Send a request to privacy@vivaddie.com with the subject line "Data deletion request", and include:
- The email address associated with your VivAddie account (if known)
- The Facebook Page name/ID or Instagram username you connected
- Anything else that helps us locate the connection, such as your brand name
We will confirm receipt and process verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.
4. Verification
Because a deletion request permanently removes data, we may ask you to verify your identity or your control of the account before we act — for example by confirming details of the account or the connected page. This protects you against unauthorized deletion requests made by someone else. If we cannot verify the request, we will explain what is needed.
5. Retention of certain records
Most data associated with a connection is deleted or anonymized when you disconnect the account or your deletion request is processed. A small set of records may be retained only where legally or operationally required — for example billing, tax or fraud-prevention records, or security logs kept for a limited period. Where retention is not required, records are deleted or anonymized. Content already published to a platform remains on that platform under its own policies.
6. Deleting your VivAddie account
You may stop using VivAddie and request deletion of your account at any time. Account deletion removes your brands, campaigns, generated assets and connection records, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can request this from within the product or by contacting us using the details below.
7. Contact
Deletion and privacy requests can be sent to privacy@vivaddie.com. For how we handle personal information generally, see our Privacy Policy.
